I developed this logo
and business card design for Structured Home Media.
The design graphically describes the home wiring services
offered by Structured.
Interpretation
The red, blue, green and orange colors
represent wire colors in twisted pair wiring. The perspective
lines represent media cables. The blocking of the perspective
lines evokes an image of a residential development that
is serviced by Structured Home Media. The orange sunburst
implies the sun shining on the neighborhood while also
completing the symmetry of the shape. The strong font
of the word "Structured" imparts stability
and order. Emphasizing the word "Structured"
dimishes the chance that people will abbreviate their
name using the non-descriptive acronym of SHM.
